Located within the scenic Flower Sea area of Nanchuan, Chongqing, this project is conceived as a high-end resort complex affiliated with the main visitor center. It comprises a reception pavilion and two villa clusters housing a total of twelve guest suites. The design aims to harmonize regional identity with contemporary aesthetics, creating a dialogue between nature, culture, and architecture.

The reception center draws inspiration from the vernacular architecture of western Sichuan, reinterpreting its spatial order, timber structures, and material language in a modern context. Through this reinterpretation, the building becomes both a cultural symbol and a welcoming threshold for arriving guests.
The villas take cues from the natural form of blooming flowers—transforming organic geometry into architectural expression. Each building embodies the fluidity and vitality of nature while maintaining a coherent functional logic. Site planning carefully follows the contours and orientation of the terrain to minimize ecological impact and ensure privacy, openness, and optimal views of the surrounding landscape.
Interior design continues the narrative of the exterior. Each of the twelve villas is themed around a distinct flower, translated through colors, textures, and spatial composition. The result is a collection of poetic and immersive environments, where architecture and nature merge to evoke the essence of a serene floral retreat.
